  • In July 2023, at the Canadian Open Chess Championship in Calgary, Canada, Aaron showcased his proficiency in classical chess, finishing with an impressive score of 7 out of 10. This achievement secured him a tie for sixth place overall and a ninth-place ranking with a performance rating of 2350. Aaron's consistent excellence was highlighted by his hard-earned draws against world- famous players, GM Evgeny Bareev (FIDE rating 2631) and Illya Nyzhnyk (FIDE rating 2642).
